BLOG FUNDRAISER FOR YES ON PROP 37
38 Giveaways & Over $5,000 in Prizes
Americans have a fundamental right to know what they are eating. More than a million Americans have asked the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to label Genetically Modified Foods – as do the fifty countries that already require this labeling.
The right to know and the right to choose are basic American values. 90% percent of Americans want to know if their food is genetically engineered. 19 states have tried to pass labeling laws – but the enormous influence of companies like Monsanto has blocked this. It’s time for the people to decide.
To help raise funds for this effort, Los Angeles-based Village Green Network™ has teamed up with 33 companies committed to organic food. These companies have donated $5,000 worth of products to a series of 36 sweepstakes to be run by Village Green Network in October. Participating companies include Perfect Supplements, Cultures for Health, Vital Choice, Zukay Live Foods, Purity Foods, Jovial Foods, Alvarado St. Bakery, Ayala’s Herbal Water, Eden Foods, GoodOnYa Bars, Vintage Tradition, Lundberg Family Farms, Ayala’s Herbal Water, Kombucha Kamp, International Nutrition, Earth Mama Angel Baby, I Love Blue Sea, Real Salt, SeaSnax, Active D’Lites Probiotic Chocolate, Eco-Me, Outta the Park BBQ Sauce, Theo Chocolate, Mom Made Foods, Wild Planet Seafood, Dr. Bronner’s, Late July, Rumiano Non-GMO Cheese, GH Cretors, Navitas Naturals, Nutiva, Mountain Rose Herbs and Rudi’s Bread.
